Weekly Winners & Losers

Would you look at that? Wheat closed HIGHER on the week… but not after making new lows ahead of Tuesday’s report.

How low is low?

Dec KC futures hit 7.09 on Tuesday - their lowest tick since September 2021.

If you think that is bad… Chicago wheat was worse. Tuesday’s 5.70 low was nearby soft red wheat’s lowest trade since December 2020.

The cattle market continues its unprecedented run, up another 2% this past week making new all-time highs on Friday.

This is a 50-year chart. Incredible.

Live cattle were up 2% on the week at well, also making new all-time highs Friday.
