Weekly Winners & Losers
It was a sad week for corn who made new low at $4.61-3/4 on Friday, helped along by a couple extra bushels of yield the market was not expecting in the Nov WASDE.
Dec has only closed higher 4 of the last 16 trading sessions and 6 times in the past month.
Year-to-date, corn is sucking air - down 24% (nearly $1.50). Soybeans, on the other hand, are down a mere 5% (<70c).
Jan made a run above $13.84 mid-week - for the first time since September 12… before giving up all of this past week’s gains and then some:
