Weekly Winners & Losers

Nearby soft red wheat futures closed above $6 for the first time since early February:

And hard red futures moved into a range we have not seen since December:

Dec corn continues to be perpetually stuck between 460 and 480, but at least we somewhat trended the right direction last week:

It’s been 26 long trading days since Nov beans closed above $12…. and a really long 107 since we closed above $13.

The big move in palm was fun while it lasted:

Sucks to be whoever is left long and wrong on old crop cotton as it has given up all of its Feb/March rally:

New crop hasn’t fared any better either:

New crop cotton HAD been the belle of the ball… had being the key word there:

Performance post-March acreage report says corn is actually winning the battle… or at least holding its own vs beans and cotton:
