Santa was forced to shed a few layers this year as Christmas was the warmest on record across areas of the Midwest and northern United States.

Weekly soybean export sales improved to 73 million bushels in the week ending December 14, bolstered by a streak of flashes as China continues to buy for state reserves.

Cumulative commitments are now 1.3 billion bushels - 65 million of the seasonal pace needed to hit USDA’s current full-year estimate of 1.755 billion.
