Brazil exported a record 9.3mmt (365 million bushels) of corn in August, setting a new record high for any month by a whopping 75 million bushels.

The United States, on the other hand, set a ten-year corn export low in July, according to census data released yesterday.
At 94.4 million bushels, July 2023 saw the smallest July export program since July in 2013 immediately following 2012’s drought.
July shipments were down 46% year-on-year as cheap and abundant Brazilian supplies continue to steal US marketshare, particularly into Asia.
